Meteorologist Marisa Woloszyn’s Forecast Discussion
After a break from the rain Saturday and Sunday, the next front is quickly approaching the area. Light showers have already been reported along the coast Sunday afternoon and will continue to spread across the area. This round of showers will produce around .5″ to 1.5″ of rain and should wrap up late Monday morning.
If that isn’t enough for you, a stronger front swings through late Monday afternoon into Tuesday. This front will bring another .5″ to 1.5″ with higher totals along the coast. Also, winds will increase with this front, wind gusts will be near 40 mph along the coast and 20 mph inland.
High pressure slowly builds in Wednesday and Thursday; but with the amount of moisture that will be in the area, each day should start off with clouds and slowly burn off around noon. High temps will be in the mid 60s.
Have a Marvelous Monday!
