U.S. Bank Robbed in Springfield

UPDATE: Springfield police say they believe the man is the same person involved in a similar robbery on September 5, 2013, at a Bank of the West branch in Tualatin.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — Springfield police are looking for the man who robbed the U.S. Bank on Mohawk Boulevard on Tuesday morning.

Witnesses told police that a man came into the bank with a rifle wrapped in a blanket, demanded money and left on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, 40-50 years old, six feet tall, 210 pounds with dark long hair. He was wearing a light green and white plaid jacket with a hood.
