CHARLESTON BAY, Ore– Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies are trying to identify the man whose body was found in the ocean.
The body was recovered by the Coast Guard on Wednesday afternoon near Charleston Harbor.
The body is described as a white male adult, 50-60 years of age, about six feet tall.
Deputies say he has a gray beard, longer dark brown hair, and a large, skull-on-skull tattoo on his left shoulder.
The body appears to have been in the water for at least a couple days.
The Coos County Sheriff’s Office is looking into this death as suspicious, pending an autopsy.
