EUGENE, Ore. –A Bethel grandmother says someone stole the one item she needs to transport six kids around all day.
Theresa Richardson says her Bye Bye Buggy 6 seat stroller was stolen Tuesday night and now she’s pleading for its return.
Richardson says it was locked to a rocking chair at her home on Danebo Road.
When she woke up Wednesday morning both the lock and the buggy were no where to be found. Richardson filed a police report with EPD even put up a Cragislist posting asking for its return.
She babysits her grandchildren and a few other children and uses the buggy to haul them around and she says the kids look forward to going for a ride.
“It’s a great asset to the kids and to me. financially I wouldn’t be able to replace it whatever pleasure someone’s getting out of it, they’re taking a lot more away from me and the children,” said Richardson.
These strollers run upwards of $1,000
She’s asking the person who took it to leave it in her driveway and she won’t ask any questions.
