UO Burglary Suspect Sketch Released

EUGENE, Ore. — The University of Oregon Police Department is looking for one or more suspects who broke into several offices on campus.

UOPD says 10 burglaries were reported between April 26 and May 23, usually happening between 6 p.m. and midnight. The suspect(s) stole computers and other electronics from faculty and staff offices in Gerlinger, Lawrence, Anstett and Willamette halls.

Police released a sketch of one of the suspects Wednesday.

The sketch is of a suspicious person that someone working in Columbia Hall told UOPD they say after-hours. The person is described as a white man in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5’10” tall, about 150 pounds, with a gaunt face and light skin, and reddish cheeks. The man wore a yellow UO hat, dark-colored wind pants and a sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about these cases is asked to call UOPD at 541-346-2919.
