UO Law Goes on the Road

EUGENE, Ore. — A group of University of Oregon law students are on a unique recruiting mission.

They set off Tuesday on a road trip in a lime green Volkswagon van. The three students will travel through Oregon and California to meet prospective students and alumni.

The week-long tour will take them as far south as San Diego.

“It’s just a lot of fun to get to meet with students to chat with them and answer their questions, have a drink with them, have a meal with them and to bring them together with alumni and really galvanize that connection between past, current and future students,” said UO law student Ben Harris.

The van belongs to Harris. It doesn’t have an air conditioner, which could pose a challenge when they go to Southern California.
