UO Unveils Film Fest Plans

EUGENE, Ore. — The University of Oregon unveiled plans for its 4th annual Cinema Pacific Film Festival Wednesday.

It will include 28 events, including lectures from screen writers of Oscar-nominated films.

The festival focuses on great films from around the world, as well as some of the talent right here in Oregon.

The festival’s director says it provides an experience you can’t get anywhere else.

“You’ll get to really not just see the film, but you really get context provided that helps you appreciate it, that’s what distinguishes a festival experience from a regular movie going experience,” said Richard Herskowitz, Film Festival Director.

The five-day festival kicks off April 17. To get more information and to buy tickets, click here.
