UOPD Searches for Dorm Trespasser

EUGENE, Ore. — The University of Oregon Police Department is investigating a trespassing incident on the UO campus.

Residents of Tingle Hall, in the Hamilton Residence Hall Complex, say around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, an unknown man was seen walking through the third floor, which is a designated women’s floor.

Police say the man looked into the shower area where a resident was showering. He also entered a resident’s room and removed her covers, waking her. The resident ordered the man to leave and he fled the hall.

UOPD searched the hall and area but was unable to locate the suspect.

The man is described as white, 18-21 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build and sandy blond hair. He was last seen wearing a short-sleeve, maroon, button-up shirt.
