EUGENE, Ore. — Lane County Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle-in-a-ditch report Wednesday morning.
Around 9:20 a.m. Kara E. Linn, 28, of Yoncalla, was traveling north on I-5 when she lost control on the wet pavement. The car went off the road and rolled into a ditch, landing upside down in three feet of water..
Crews say Linn was trapped inside the car when they arrived, but paramedics were eventually able to remove her. She was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend with non-life threatening injuries
Oregon State Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
