Vehicle Rolls Over Pedestrians in Pleasant Hill

PLEASANT HILL, Ore. — Two people were taken to the hospital around 9 p.m. Sunday after being hit by an SUV in Pleasant Hill.

Dozens of local fire and police personel, including Life Flight, responded to a residence on Papenfus Road.

Witnesses say a resident was maneuvering the SUV on the top of their steep driveway when the car somehow slipped into reverse. The SUV then rolled onto two people who were outside the car.

We’re told three or four people were taken to the hospital. Some appeared to have serious injuries, fire crews say.
