VENETA, Ore. — Artists, cooks, and performers are getting ready for the Oregon Country Fair this weekend.
Fair-goers can see different arts and crafts and taste new foods. Vendors are setting up booths in preparation for the big event, which starts Friday.
General Manager Charlie Ruff says the fair is unique to Oregon, and people who attend can expect a one-of-a-kind celebration.
“If you come with an open mind and an open heart and just take the trip around the path out there, I guarantee you you’ll become part of the event and we need you. It takes us all to make this magic happen every year,” Ruff said.
Ruff says there will be two free busing sites to the fair out of Eugene, one from downtown and the other from Valley River Center.
