A ridge of high pressure is parked over the Pacific Northwest and it is sticking around all week and into the weekend. This means the weather you’re seeing today is the weather you’ll be seeing a week from now.
Along the coast the temperatures will remain mild with plenty of cloud cover to start the day. Most areas will just see partial clearing in the afternoon. Expect to see more afternoon sunshine heading in to weekend and temperatures warming into the low 70’s.
The inland valleys will remain hot and sunny with temperatures hovering around 90 degrees. There will be chance for afternoon thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon.
