Vigil Planned for Teen Killed in Crash

SWEET HOME, Ore. — A candlelight vigil will be held for a Sweet Home teenager Thursday, who was killed in a car crash over the weekend.

Friends of Caroline Huss will remember the 16-year-old at the Sweet Home High School soccer field.

The teen was driving Sunday with her mother when their car crossed the center line and crashed into a tow truck. Her mother and the truck driver suffered minor injuries.

Friends ask everyone to bring a candle and wear blue because it was Caroline’s favorite color. There will also be a donation jar to help the family with expenses. The vigil will start at 6 p.m.
