EUGENE, Ore. — Wells Fargo employees and their friends and family took to the trails at Alton Baker Park Saturday; With more than 60 volunteers, they had a record breaking turnout, all under the name, “Keeping Oregon Beautiful”.
They carted around trash bags and snag as much garbage as they could.
The company has participated in the “Solve” Beach and Riverside Cleanup event for the last six years, which continues to grow and gain popularity.
“Nice leisurely stroll in the park on a beautiful day. We get a ton of trash this year we’ll probably get about 10 to 15 garbage bags full of trash,” said Community Bank District Manager Kyle Banks.
Wells Fargo had 13 other teams doing similar projects throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington Saturday.
