EUGENE, Ore. — Almost 3,000 University of Oregon students swarmed campus Thursday for “Unpack The Quack”, the university’s big move in day.
Families said the process was smoother than they expected thanks to the hundreds of volunteers who met families at the curb and helped them carry up all their things.
It’s a pretty sweet deal for students and makes a notoriously stressful day fairly easy.
Just more than half of the 4,200 students living on campus this year moved in Thursday. Fall term classes start Monday.
