EUGENE, Ore. — A historic music hall in Eugene is getting spruced up, thanks to the help of several volunteers.
The W.O.W. Hall on West 8th is holding its annual spring cleaning event. Volunteers came by to clean and beautify the community arts center Sunday.
W.O.W. Hall staff say they rely heavily on the contributions of volunteers.
“We are a non-profit. A lot of venues may have a paid staff, a large paid staff, to take care of things, but we don’t,” said volunteer coordinator Laura Farrelly.
The staff says they can always use more volunteers to help around the community center.
The W.O.W. Hall opened in 1932, but since 1975 has been a non-profit for the performing arts.
