SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — The old Circuit City building next to the Gateway Mall in Springfield will be the new home of a Walmart neighborhood market.
The company made the announcement Monday. It plans to hire 65 associates when it opens.
What makes the market different from a typical Walmart store is this one’s smaller and will feature Oregon produce and food, along with a large wine selection.
We have yet to confirm when the Walmart neighborhood market is expected to open.
