High pressure remains locked in place over the West. But monsoonal moisture coming up from the south is bringing clouds and mountain thunderstorms to us. This could cause some unsettled weather beginning Friday and into the weekend.
Some afternoon cloudiness held down high temperatures a bit Tuesday. Wednesday will not be quite as warm because I expect morning cloudiness that will burn off to afternoon sun and highs in the mid to upper 80’s inland, 65-70 along the coast. Thursday temperatures begin to bump up and we will be hovering around 90 again by the weekend.
Even though there will be a threat for a thunderstorm or two beginning Friday, sunny skies and warm weather will prevail into Saturday and Sunday. Any thunderstorms will likely be over the Cascades and in Central Oregon.
