CHIEF METEOROLOGIST JUSTIN STAPLETON’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Just a few showers left over for the rest of the night, mainly in the northern end of the valley and along the northern Cascades. We should stay cloudy and lows will be just a bit cooler down into the mid to low 40s. Expect to see some thick morning clouds just about everywhere to start off Saturday.
The coast will likely see some drizzle throughout the morning tomorrow and skies eventually start to clear by the evening. Highs will slowly move back into the low 60s. By Sunday, high pressure starts to move into the Northwest and take hold into next week. Monday will be the transitional day with highs approaching 70 in some spots but the real warm up is the days following. In fact, we’re looking at a nice warm up into possibly the mid 70s by Tuesday and Wednesday. It will feel almost early summer-like by this time next week! With the rush of warm air coming, snow lines will likely soar above 10,000 feet, likely putting an official end to the ski season.
Have a great weekend!
