METEOROLOGIST MELISSA FREY’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
The jet stream moved north this weekend which means, we’re out of the storm track and now on the warm side of the jet. High pressure is also moving in which helps to clear out the clouds. Sunday will be another chilly start with lows falling into the low 30s. We’ll also likely start the day with another round of fog, frost and low clouds. Sunday afternoon is looking mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 50s.
The ridge of high pressure will move on Monday. We’ll see an area of low pressure move across the southern part of the state mid-week, which will bring in scattered showers and possible thundershowers. This storm is much warmer than last week’s though, since it’s coming from the south. Highs will stay in the upper 50s and low 60s.
As of now, Easter weekend is looking dry and even warmer!
Have a great rest of your weekend!
