Water Main Shutdown to Affect Winchester

ROSEBURG, Ore. — The City of Roseburg will shut down a water main in the Winchester area on Tuesday.

The water will be shut off on Jan. 22 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. so crews work on installing a new water main between Hooker Road and the Water Treatment Plant on Pioneer Way.

The city says the shutdown will affect businesses and residences on the east side of NE Stephens Street between MaryAnn Lane and Fair Acres Lane (near Taft Drive), about 300 customers. Also those who live and work on the following side streets will be affected: Maryann Lane, Danita Lane, Currier Street, Pleasant Street, Club Avenue and Fair Acres Lane.

Any customers with questions about the project should call the City of Roseburg Public Works Department at 541-492-6730.
