Meteorologist Melissa Frey’s Forecast Discussion:
We’ve seen another four dry days (after the 50 that we had before that), but for the first time this week there is a chance for rain (more like drizzle) in the forecast.
Clouds started rolling into Southern Douglas County early this morning ahead of on area of low pressure. This storm is still down off the coast of San Francisco, but it slowly heading north.
The valley will basically just see the clouds and decreasing temps. Highs today will still be in the upper 80s and low 90s.
Thundershowers will return to the Cascades, eastern Douglas County and Central Oregon, but should all stay south and east of Western Oregon. The valley will likely see clouds from the thunderstorms and a slight chance of drizzle Thursday and again Friday morning.
On-shore flow will return Thursday, meaning the morning clouds will be back. Highs will drop to the mid 80s Thursday and then low 80s Friday – Monday. There’s a slight chance that we could see some light rain Saturday
Have a great day!
