Chief Meteorologist Justin Stapleton‘s Daily Forecast Discussion:
Thursday should stay mostly cloudy at times with showers on and off mainly at the coast this morning, and then shifting inland in the afternoon as the wrap around moisture moves in off the ocean. For us that’ll mean some scattered showers and if we clear up some in the afternoon, that may fire up some additional showers and maybe a thunderstorm. Highs again will be cooler than average, in the mid to upper 70s.
By Friday, the showers and the storm head east, and after some morning clouds, we’ll get back to mostly sunny skies in the afternoon and a bit warmer with highs in the low 80s. For folks heading to Brownsville for the Bi-Mart Willamette Country Music Festival, the weather should cooperate with sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 80s Friday through Sunday where we’ll get close to 90.
The weather stays sunny and warm in the upper 80s early next week as well. Monday may see a chance for some thunderstorms in the mountains as the next upper level low forms off the Northern California coast. It looks like summer will be back this weekend and next week for sure.
Have a great Thursday!
