Meteorologist Matt Callihan's Forecast: A wonderful start to your Friday, with light clouds to begin the day. Sunny conditions will persist through the afternoon and will continue through Saturday. Temperatures today will reach in the low 80’s for the Willamette Valley, mid 80s for the Umpqua Basin, and in the low 60s for the coast.
Record rainfall is wreaking havoc across a swath of Texas and the Midwest on Sunday, causing flash floods in normally dry riverbeds, spawning tornadoes and forcing at least 2,000 people to flee.
