Hot Fourth of July Weekend

Another very HOT day Thursday, triple digits were seen all in the Willamette Valley and Umpqua Basin. Eugene broke Thursday’s record high temperature of 98 degrees set in 1942, warming to 101 degrees in the afternoon. The Heat Advisory has been extended through Sunday evening. Drink plenty of water, make sure your pets have plenty of water, do outside work in the morning, and never leave pets or kids inside a car.
