Cloudy Start to the Day, but the Sun Returns

Meteorologist Matt Callihan's Forecast: A cloudy start to the day, but we are starting to see some sunshine break through the clouds this afternoon. The clouds will return this evening into the overnight hours, but much like today, they will dissipate through the afternoon. Temperatures for your Sunday will reach in the upper 60s for the Willamette Valley, mid 70s for the Umpqua Basin, and low 60s for the coast.

Drought Conditions Worsen in Western Oregon

Oregon is the home to the deepest lake in the United States, famous waterfalls and in western Oregon, abundant streams and rivers. The life blood of our community is this water, all fueled by nearly 50 inches of rain and hundreds of inches of snow that falls in the Cascades every year. This year we didn't get that critical snow and we're already seeing the consequences.
