It was back to 95° Wednesday in Eugene. This was the 29th time we've been above 90° this summer. Typically we only hit 90° about 15 times, if we see just 2 more days at 90° or above that would set a new record in Eugene. One of those may happen today.
The Douglas Forest Protective Association has increased the fire danger to extreme on its protected lands. The increase in the fire danger level is due to the hot and dry weather conditions, along with the severity of the drought stricken vegetation throughout the county.
