High pressure is holding steady across the West. A very weak system will break through Tuesday.

Flames erupted early Monday morning in Pacifica about 15 miles south of San Francisco. High winds pushed the brush fire near a neighborhood, forcing dozens of evacuations. It also threatened a nearby high school.
