After a cool and somewhat drizzly weekend, the clouds have cleared and full sunshine overhead means a warm afternoon is on tap. We dropped to the 40s this morning in Eugene, but will top out in the low to mid 80s this afternoon.
As the fire complexes continue to burn in Western Siskiyou County, more areas become affected. Many mandatory evacuations have been put into place.
Evacuation orders are in place for La Duke Road, the Deception Creek Mobile Home Park, and the Middle Fork Ranger Station, due to the Deception Creek Complex Fires.
The continuing hot and dry conditions have caused the Douglas Forest Protection Association raised the fire danger level from high to extreme Monday.
