A cold front moved on-shore overnight bringing rain to all of western Oregon. The rain started falling in Eugene at about midnight and by 6 a.m. we already had a tenth of an inch. As the front passes later this morning the steady rain will transition to scattered showers. We'll see scattered showers
Western Oregon has the opportunity to see a total lunar eclipse on Wednesday. This is when the moon passes through the Earth’s shadow from west to east. The skies will be clear, but you'll have to wake up early to see it.
Mount Ashland is revealing the results of its recent ski survey. The survey had 1,200 responses telling mountain management what they want to see over the next 50 years. Some want to see longer runs and faster lifts.
