EUGENE, Ore. — Sergeant Loren Corner, a 25-year member of the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, played his trumpet outside the Lane County Jail Tuesday morning as a part of Bugles Across America. Sgt. Corner played Taps four times, once at the exact minute each of the planes crashed back on September 11th, 2001, as a way to remember what happen and those who lost their lives.
