Wet Weather for Memorial Day

METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION: 

A storm is bringing wet weather for Memorial Day, showers started around 2:30 a.m. and will continue through sunset. The heaviest rain will be during the morning; more breaks in the showers can be expected by the afternoon with some peaks at the sunshine. High temps will be below average in the mid 60s inland and upper 50s along the coast.

We’ll be in between systems Tuesday, we can expect mostly cloudy skies with a few showers. The next system moves through Tuesday night, with the heaviest rain falling overnight; scattered showers will continue throughout Wednesday. Highs will remain in the mid 60s inland and upper 50s along the coast.

Thursday will be the transition day into drier and warmer weather for Friday and the weekend. Friday and Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
