METEOROLOGIST MARISA WOLOSZYN’S FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Another wet day Wednesday, as a storm sat off the Oregon Coast. The storm will continue to spiral along the north Oregon Coast, bringing showers in Wednesday night and into Thursday. Winds will also pick up with sustained winds 10-20 mph and gusts up to 30 mph. The Cascades will see more snow with this storm, so a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect above 4,000 feet from 5 p.m Wednesday and 5 p.m. Thursday. 6-12 inches of snow is expected.
Rain will pick up again Thursday night/Friday morning as another storm moves in. This storm will continue gusty winds, especially along the coast. The Cascades can expect a wintry mix at first before showers return to snow Friday evening.
Wet weather continues through the weekend and into next week as two more storms swing through. Temperatures throughout the forecast period will be in the mid to upper 50s.
Have a good Thursday!
