What’s Allowed, Not Allowed at OCF

Oregon Country FairELMIRA, Ore. — Fifteen-thousand people are expected to hit the first day of the Oregon Country Fair Friday.

The event is now in its 45th year.

Many call it an experience like no other with world class entertainers and performers, hand crafted artisans and gourmet food.

You’ll also find colorful costumes, ambiance, parades and plenty of surprises. But, organizers don’t want you to be surprised when it comes to what’s allowed inside.

“Remember we don’t have pets or animals on site. It’s really tough for them out here with all these people. No glass, no bottles, none of that kind of good stuff. We have lots of resources here, so if you need help we’re really here to help you out,” said Charlie Ruff, general manager of the Oregon Country Fair.

Doors to the Oregon Country Fair open at 11 a.m. It closes at 7 p.m.
