Wildfires Threaten More Than 400 Homes

GLENDALE, Ore. — The Douglas Complex Fire is threatening more than 400 homes, and already about 90 of those have been evacuated.

Most of the evacuees live in Douglas County, and 30 are from Josephine County.

The Red Cross has set up an emergency shelter at Glendale Elementary. At this time only a handful are taking advantage of the makeshift shelter.

A community meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Glendale Elementary. Officials will be talking about where the fire fight is and what residents can expect in the coming days.
