Willamette Country Music Fest Sets Up

BROWNSVILLE, Ore. — One of Oregon’s smaller cities is about to grow up, practically overnight.

Brownsville is getting ready to welcome 15,000 guests to Linn County and 13 special guests for the 6th annual Bi-Mart Willamette Country Music Festival.

On Friday, trucks began rolling into the 1,000-acre field delivering the stage and scaffolding. From booking the performers to tweaking the venues layout, this five-day event has been in the works for about a year and a half.

“It’s 13 artists, and three-plus days, 15,000 people, 800 volunteers all working together in the synergy of great country music in a beautiful setting touching all these different people,” said Don Leber, Bi-Mart Director of Advertising.

Beginning with some of the world’s top entertainers, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, and Darius Rucker will headline this years concert lineup.
