Near MAPLETON, Ore. — A crash on Highway 126 near Mapleton killed a woman driver around 1:30 Saturday afternoon.
Oregon State Police say a woman driving an SUV was traveling west bound when she crossed the centerline and collided head on with a pickup truck pulling a trailer. The two people in the pick up were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The eastbound lane is closed. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area due to delays.
