Woman Rescued from Submerged Car

CORVALLIS, Ore. — A woman was rescued after calling 911 from on top of her flooded car.

Corvallis Police say the 35-year-old woman said she had driven her Ford Mustang in four feet of water on Old River Road in southern Benton County.

They say her the current swept her car 300 feet off the road and into a farm field.

She was not injured.

Police say Old River Road south of Goracke Rd. is closed due to high water.
