EUGENE, Ore. — A water rescue on the Willamette River Thursday afternoon ended with one woman in the hospital.
Bystanders pulled the woman from the river near the Ferry Street Bridge. They say she fell in at Alton Baker Park and was swept away.
Crews say the woman was in the water, which was near 50 degrees, for about 15 minutes.
We do not have any word on her condition.
