EUGENE, Ore. — This weekend dozens of kids got to witness a Cinderella sized pumpkin be carved into a wicked jack-o-lantern before their eyes. World famous pumpkin carver Sean Cully, from Oregon, stopped into the Eugene Home Improvement show to demonstrate his talents on a 1,000 lb. pumpkin. The carving took eight hours and was on display all day Sunday.
Cully has made multiple national television appearances, has carved for the Vice President, and has held the world record for the largest pumpkin carving six times. Here’s a glimpse into how his carving adventure’s all started, and how the shrieks and shrills of Halloween inspired kids keep him carving.
