EUGENE — In one year from Monday, the best young athletes will come to Eugene. It’ll be the beginning of the 2014 IAAF World Junior Track & Field Championships, which will be held at Hayward Field.
It’ll be the first time that the World Juniors will be held in the United States, and the first world championship of any kind in the United States in 25 years.
The event’s logo was unveiled on Monday at Oakway Center, and the flags of all 212 countries that will participate were displayed.
