EUGENE, Ore -- Columbia Bank wraps up its 3rd annual Warm Hearts Winter Drive which benefits charities in Eugene.

Columbia Bank locations across the Pacific Northwest rallied local communities to make cash donations or provide new warm winter wear including gloves, scarves, coats, socks, shoes, mittens and hats for adults and children at any Columbia Bank location.  Last year, the drive raised more then $209,000 and organizers hope to exceed that in 2017.

One hundred percent of the funds and winter wear collected go directly to shelters and relief organizations. The two main recipients in Eugene are Eugene Mission and First Place Family Shelter.

KEZI 9 News is proud to be a sponsor of the Warm Hearts campaign. David Devine, Senior Vice President of Columbia Bank, joined anchor Sean Cuellar on KEZI 9 News Midday to talk about the Warm Hearts Winter Drive and how it's helping the community.
