EUGENE, Ore. – You can fix things you already have and keep them out of the landfill this weekend in Eugene.
Anything from a toaster that won’t work to a lamp that no longer lights up are fair game at the fix-it fair on Sunday.
The ToolBox Project and City of Eugene are putting on the fair from noon to 3 p.m. at the Lane Events Center.
Volunteers and professionals will be on hand to help with repairs and show you how to do repairs yourself. They can help with anything from small appliances to clothing and textiles, small electronics, home and garden tools, furniture and toys.
The ToolBox Project is a nonprofit tool lending library in Lane County with nearly 500 members. The idea is to share tools so we can all build and grow together.
