ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Roseburg Disposal will start recycling Christmas trees starting December 27th through January 9th.
Free Christmas tree recycling will be done at Legion Field, Kline Street, in front of Hucrest School, the corner of Calkins and Jefferson, Totem Market in Winchester, and the Sherms Thunderbird parking lot.
Additional locations include: Kowloon's restaurant, Carquest, Rose Street by the old Safeway, the corner of Rice and Stephens, and Cinema parking lot.
You can drop off the trees in a dropbox and make sure you remove any ornaments first.
According to the National Christmas Tree Association, Christmas trees are biodegradable, which means they can be reused or recycled for mulch, and other purposes.
