EUGENE, Ore. – If you are looking to take down your Christmas tree, there’s a few places that will haul it off for you.

Boy Scout Troop 182 in Eugene is holing a big fundraiser, offering their services on Saturdays and Sundays through Jan. 19.

It costs $10. They don’t take flocked or painted trees. Find out more by clicking here

They use the money to send scouts to camp and other adventures.

McCornack Elementary in Eugene is also picking up trees to fundraise for a trip to Washington, D.C. next summer.

They are also charging $10, and they are running their service through Jan. 26. You can fill out their registration form by clicking here

You can also recycle your tree yourself at Rexius, 150 Highway 99, or at Lane Forest Products at 2111 Prairie Road in Eugene or 820 North 42nd Street in Springfield.

If you have lights to recycle, even if they don’t work, you can take them to NextStep Recycling, 245 Jackson Street in Eugene. This year, they’re donating all the proceeds to Power on with Limb Loss, a group that supports amputees.
