EUGENE, Ore. – Bella is a friendly, outgoing dog with a personality that matches her size.
This young Saint Bernard mix is 9 months old and weighs about 100 pounds.
Bella is looking for a family that can handle her size and energy level, and will see that she gets plenty of exercise as well as some basic obedience training. She can join a family with older children, but she may be too clumsy for little ones and could accidentally knock them down. She may do well with another dog, but is likely to be too much for cats.
Bella is a sweet dog who will need a fenced-in backyard where she can run and play.
Bella’s fee is $300, which helps pay for shelter expenses such as vaccinations, microchip identification, spaying or neutering, a certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more.
Bella was Tuesday’s Pet of the Week on KEZI 9 News. Every Tuesday, KEZI showcases a homeless pet on the Midday newscast at 11 a.m. and again at 4 p.m.
Greenhill Humane Society is located at 88530 Green Hill Road and is open daily by appointment only from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Its phone number is 541-689-1503. Adoptions are currently by appointment only.
To ensure a good match is made, potential adopters must go to the animal shelter in person to meet with the animal and kennel staff. All family members should be present to ensure the animal is compatible with everyone in the household.
