EUGENE, Ore. – Brownie is a friendly, 12-year-old Australian Shepherd mix ready to leave the animal shelter and join a family.
Brownie came to First Avenue Shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. She is looking for a laid-back family that will understand the needs of an older dog. She could live with another calm dog and possibly a cat.
She enjoys going for walks and getting affection.

To ensure a good match is made, potential adopters must go to the animal shelter in person to meet with the animal and kennel staff.
