EUGENE, Ore. – Coco is a sweet little dog looking for a family that will be patient with her and give her plenty of love as she settles in to her new home.
She is a feisty Pomeranian mix who has suffered from allergies that are being treated at Greenhill Humane Society. In spite of her allergies, she is still a playful pup ready for good home.
Coco loves to chase toys, play tug-o-war and enjoys a nice warm lap when playtime is over. She should be the only pet in the home.
Coco is 8 years old and weighs about 10 pounds. Her adoption fee is $85, which helps pay the cost of vaccinations, microchip identification, spaying or neutering, a certificate for a free veterinary exam and more.
Coco was Tuesday’s Pet of the Week on KEZI 9 News. Every Tuesday, KEZI showcases homeless pets on the Midday newscast at 11 a.m. and again at 4 p.m. If you are interested in Coco or other animals at Greenhill Humane Society, click here.
Greenhill Humane Society is located at 88530 Green Hill Road and is open daily by appointment only from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Its phone number is 541-689-1503. Adoptions are also currently by appointment only.
To ensure a good match is made, potential adopters must go to the animal shelter in person to meet with the animal and kennel staff. All family members should be present to ensure the animal is compatible with everyone in the household.
Also, Greenhill’s annual Bark in the Park fundraiser has become a virtual event this year. Join hundreds of animal lovers who are committed to helping animals and the people who love them. Every dollar raised makes a lifesaving difference for over 3,600 animals in need each year. Participation makes it possible for Greenhill to provide animals with safe shelter, medical care, rescue and rehabilitation, protection from cruelty and neglect, and so much more.
