EUGENE, Ore. – Cooper is an American Pit Bull terrier mix who knows basic commands and would fit into many households.
This calm, gentle dog is 6 years old and can go to a family with children of any age. He also gets along with other dogs, and can go to a household with cats.
Cooper was brought to the First Avenue Shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. He does well on a leash and is friendly and well-mannered. He knows basic commands such as sit, down and stay.
Cooper weighs 76 pounds and his fee is $175. This includes the cost of vaccinations, microchip identification, spaying or neutering, a certificate for a free veterinary exam and more.

Greenhill Humane Society is located at 88530 Green Hill Road. The phone number is (541) 689-1503. Greenhill hours are Friday through Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is closed Wednesday and Thursday.
To ensure a good match is made, potential adopters must go to the animal shelter in person to meet with the animal and kennel staff. All family members should be present to ensure the dog is compatible with everyone in the household.
