EUGENE, Ore. – Cooper is a sweet dog who would make a wonderful companion for many families.

Cooper is a Border Collie mix and has a positive history with other dogs, cats and children. He is a friendly, easy-going dog who is leash trained and house trained and does well on walks.

“He is gentle and loving and interested in calm snuggles,” said one volunteer at Greenhill Humane Society. Another volunteer described Cooper as a “docile little dude with a sweet heart.”

Cooper is 5 years old and weighs about 25 pounds. His adoption fee is $175, which helps pay the cost of vaccinations, microchip identification, spaying or neutering, a certificate for a free veterinary exam and more.

Cooper visited KEZI 9 News as Pet of the Week. Every Tuesday, KEZI showcases homeless pets on the Midday newscast at 11 a.m. If you are interested in Cooper or other animals at Greenhill Humane Society, click here.

Greenhill Humane Society is located at 88530 Green Hill Road and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Its phone number is 541-689-1503.

To ensure a good match is made, potential adopters must go to the animal shelter in person to meet with the animal and kennel staff. All family members should be present to ensure the animal is compatible with everyone in the household.
